
His award-winning stage career started as an understudy for Mark Ruffalo, Mark Rosenthal and Mark Rosenthal in an Off-Broadway production Kenneth Lonergan's play This is Our Youth at Second Stage Theatre. This was the beginning of many productions by the theatre company based in New York. He has appeared in numerous Off-Broadway and Broadway productions, as performing in regional theatres. In 2008, he portrayed the role of Greg in Neil LaBute's production of reasons to be gorgeous for MCC Theatre alongside The Newsroom co-star Alison Pill. After a highly acclaimed the play's sold-out run off Broadway It was moved to Broadway in April 2009 , where it was awarded three Tony Award nominations (Best Actor: Sadoski, Best Actress: Marin Ireland, Best Play) in addition to three Drama Desk Award nominations (Best actor: Sadoski, Best Director: Terry Kinney and Best Play) Two Outer Critics Circle Award nominations (Best actor: Sadoski, Best New Play),and three Drama League Award nominations (Best Play, Distinguished Performance Awards: Sadoski and Ireland). Six. Neil LaBute credited Sadoski with the change in tone in Reasons to be Pretty, a departure from earlier plays. He wrote: "His thoughtfulness and good heart allowed him to not be able to revert back to anything I've previously produced." My plays always have a dark ending. In 2011, he originated the character as Trip Wyeth in Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities for which he won an Obie Award and Lucille Lortel Award. After a sell-out Off-Broadway performance in November of 2011 The play was then moved to Broadway and was named the distinction of Outstanding New Off-Broadway Performance by the Outer Critics Circle. Sadoski, Ben Stiller, Edie Failco Jennifer Jason Leigh, Alison Pill, and Alison Pill were also seen on Broadway in John Guare's House of Blue Leaves.
