Angela Sun

Angela Sun is a journalist film maker, documentary journalist and TV host. Angela Sun, a journalist and sportscaster who has won awards for her efforts on Santa Clara County California was born on the 19th of October 1979. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Sociology from the University of California. Sun had outstanding surfing skills. Following her participation in a handful of pro-am surfer contests, she was offered sponsorship by Roxy Reef Billabong Vans and various other major companies. It was the recognition that she earned from participating in these events which led Sun to the world of entertainment. She later became a filmmaker of investigative films and journalist, as and a sportscaster. Sun was mostly anchor for several channels. She was a reporter in 2003 as reporter with Fox Sports Net. The show she hosted in 2012 was American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. In 2014 Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute. She was also one of the very first Asian American star to be a part of the show on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun's acting abilities have gained her notoriety. Sun was in films including Goliath (2016) as well as Hit the Floor(2014-2016) A Perfect Getaway(2009), Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008), and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun has produced and directed Platic Paradise, The Great Pacific Garbage Patch in 2014.
