Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on the 14th of March 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. The 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in a single Games and was also the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles as well as the younger of her sisters Adria were conceived by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston area) were raised there. Simone was first introduced to gymnastics by her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman when she was just six years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles received a silver medal for vault and a bronze medal in floor during the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. In 2011, she began participating in the elite level of gymnastics competition. In less than two years, she was the most dominant athlete in the field. Her consistency, her vivacious character and her high level of effort for her four eventsvault uneven bars, balance beam floor exercise and floor exercise -- made her out from the rest of the athletes.
